Manic Demise - The Bitter Blood Of Brutality

According to the information I collected from Metal-Archives, this would be the weirdest combination of nation where Manic Demise comes from. Tasmania and America. But with that aside, this EP is an independent release of the death metal band Manic Demise. This is their very first release and when I heard that my friend Serge had some copies left, I immediately hit him up and I told him this is really going to be a great band to review. So here is the review of Manic Demise – The Bitter Blood Of Brutality.

Starting this 5 song EP also contains one cover of Requiem. 15 minutes of pure death metal is coming my way!

First song is called ‘Femicide’. This instrumental piece of pure death metal riffing is a riff that really makes you love death metal. It contains mostly groovy-style of death metal with small parts of technical attributes.

With that in the back of my head, I can’t wait to hear the singers voice (which is very important for me). In my opinion the voice of the singer can make an record good or bad. In the case of Manic Demise this one is very good. The presentation of ‘Septic Crypt’ is an lust for any death metal fan. The style of music really reminds me of an mix between Suffocation and Six Feet Under. Why Six Feet Under? You’ve got to listen to his voice and then you’ll understand why.

‘Hematophagia’ is the third song of ‘The Bitter Blood Of Brutality’. Half of the song is instrumental which I don’t mind, normally it would get annoying hearing the same stuff for a small period of time but Manic Demise knows how to keep their fans entertained (even through the instrumental bits) with their musical abilities. The only downside of this song is probably that it ends very abrupt but if that’s the only downside of this song than theirs nothing wrong with it.

‘I Know No Sympathy’ is their final self-produced song of this EP. It is one of those songs that you put on and it is over before you know it. Does that mean that its good? Yes, in my opinion it is. Manic Demise really knows how to put an death metal album together. The vocals on this song are a lust to listen to. The groovy style of death metal vocals really apply to my needs.

Finally the last song which is a cover of the band Reqiuem. Self I am not familiar with this band but damn this song really rocks balls. ‘Kill-Fuck-Die’ does make a good appearance on this EP.

Manic Demise – The Bitter Blood Of Brutality is an amazing add to my death metal collection and I really advice you to do the same. Hit them up on their Facebook page and tell them you really want an album of theirs. It really worth an 9-10 from Good Music Promotions
