First time I’ve heard about this Australian band. It’s a brutal death/slam band from Western Australia. This short 3 song demo popped up on my feed when I was searching for now new music to review. The logo of Vomit really appealed to be so I went for it.

 

The first song is called ‘Malodorous Inhuman Mass’. The song immediately kicks of with the power of brutal death. It reminds me of the Scottish band Operation Cunt Destroyer. The similar type of riffing and usage of sounds throughout most of the 3 songs really caught me hanging into the demo.

 

The sometimes deathcore-ish type of slams they produce really remind me of some Acranius. Sadly, the vocals throughout the demo aren’t always as tough. It is a sick vocal on the record but not always throughout the whole demo. It isn’t annoying because the brutal band behind the vocalist Ben Boyle can have some credits. Why? Because it is all done by one guy. Amazing as it is this demo the vocals done always add up to the expectations that I’ve had.

 

All of this brutal mayhem comes to an end. All the slams/blastbeats/breakdowns are combined an 8 out of 10 for me.
