Salute The Exiled - Continuous Regurgitation

Salute The Exiled was formed in June 2013 by Oscar and Daniël. They play deathcore style music and this is their first release. Already they have collaborated with Jamie Hanks (singer of I Declare War) which is an enormous honour for Salute The Exiled.
This four-piece EP starts off with the song 'Exiled'. It starts off with a heavy deathcore breakdown, which I seem to like more and more. The heavy riffing and low vocals by Oscar are mixing like peanut butter and jelly. The combination with melodic parts and breakdowns is well constructed. It's has some slam aspects but the most parts are obviously that its deathcore.
The second song is the titel track of the album: Continuous Regurgitation. The song starts off with a guy (I guess) throwing up which is sick to hear! This song features the singer of I Declare War. It is special to hear such an experienced singer with such a young band. However the music of Salute The Exiled fits Jamie Hanks voice perfectly. In the end of the song you'll hear Oscar and Jamie together doing some death growls.
Devolution of Humanity is the next one. It starts with nothing more than a bunch of brutal breakdowns. After a few songs you can hear that Oscar and Daniël have a great talent for this kind of music and really can play their instrument like professionals. The fast double bass of Oscar is very present in Devolution of Humanity.
Are you ready kids? Aye Aye captain! I can't hear you!!! Aye Aye captain! OHHHHHHHHH!!!! With this famous intro, the last song 'The Destroyer' begins. This more melodic but still brutal song is my favourite track of Continuous Regurgitation. The more death metal feeling in this song is more present than in all the other songs. Except in the outro of the song which is pure deathcore.
